The Solution
Ampac partnered with Precision Fire to deliver a tailored solution including:
The whole system has been networked using fibre optic cable.
Our new Emergency Warning Intercom System EvacUElite offers a fully configurable and operator-friendly touchscreen interface. It provides many new features, including software supporting up to 512 Emergency zones and 1024 WIPs, the possibility of connecting up to 64 nodes and several configurable options such as background music, etc. It’s been designed to allow time and cost savings during installation, operation and maintenance. EvacUElite is also fully compliant with the Australian standards AS 4428.16, AS 4428.4 and AS 7240.4.
To facilitate the monitoring of the campus, the client has installed SmartView, our fully featured graphical event management system. The SmartView Server has been connected to 3 remote clients, providing clear and precise information to the operators in case of an event. It’s been combined with the event notification tool Nimbus, which informs its users of any fires, faults, pre-alarms and disablements by email and on a mobile application.
"Fibre networking 9 Fire & EWIS panels throughout multiple existing buildings in a live school campus presented its challenges, however the project was successfully delivered with careful planning, consultation with stakeholders, and a committed and dedicated site team. Ampac’s support with their new EvacUElite product made the commissioning and handover process seamless. The system is lightning fast, highly responsive, robust and the facilities management team from the school are delighted with the result."
